COC & Activities
Next to our monthly meetings for specifics groups within the LGBTQIA+ community we also regularly organise activities where all queers are welcome (allies included).
Since april 2026 we have a monthly dinner cafe called Vlamboyant and from July 2026 onwards we regularly host creative activities in our COC Craft Canteen.
Do you have an idea for an activity that you want to help organise for our community? Send us a message so we can look at a collaboration.
We are always looking for extra volunteers to help us organise these activities.
Dinner Cafe Vlamboyant
Every third Friday of the month you can come and have a nice dinner with other people from the queer community. COC volunteers will cook a three course meal for you to enjoy.
Sign up via vlamboyant@cocgd.nl, at the latest on the day of the dinner before noon. Mention if you eat meat or want to go for the vegetarian option.
Costs: 8 euro's, drinks can be bought separately

Doors open: 17.30, start dinner at 18:00
COC Craft Canteen
Movie nights
Every third Friday of each month a group of volunteers, financially supported by COC, host a queer movie night.
For more information, you can visit the Facebook page named Groninger Mannenfilm. You can also leave your email address via an email to mannenfilm@gmail.com, if you would like to receive a monthly invitation for each screening.
When:
Every third Friday of each month from 20:00 onwards, screening starts at 20:30 pm.
There is a fifteen-minute break halfway through the movie.
