Queer Science Symposium | 24 juni

Ganymedes LGBT+ Student association is organizing the Symposium: ‘Perspectives on Gender’.

Three speakers from different academic fields will give their perspective on this topic in a short (+/- 30 minutes) lecture followed by a question session and open discussion. The aim of this symposium is to provide an opportunity for queer students and researchers who have done LGBTQ+ related research to interact about their perspectives on gender and the research that has been done.

Professor G.A. Mak (University of Amsterdam); Gender from a Historical point of view.

Dr. R.M. Knooihuizen (University of Groningen); Gender in (socio-)linguistics.
